Evan Sallis, Dental Prosthetist, founded the Dental Pros Forum.
Quals include denture clinic ownership, treating 1000's of patients, brokering a trade sale of his analogue / digital clinical lab, co-developing a Prosthetist specific practice management tool, mentoring undergraduates and most recently three years spent as Higher Ed Lecturer of Dental Pros (TAFE, Queensland, Australia). His passion is learning and education.
Evan currently treats private patients and gets excited to apply the myriad of denture technological developments. Loves crafting an analogue denture while listening to great music!
After spending countless late nights and many precious hours on R & D of digital dentures, Evan (Dental Pros) opted to offer targeted courses to help colleagues by cutting through the pain points! Using multitudes of industry software & real world experience, it's completely independent, non-sales education.
Having developed & coordinated academic units and industry training days' at TAFE (QLD, Australia), the need for a different model became apparent. Many attendees travelled from across Australia and New Zealand for an intense day of dental pros collaboration. Dedication admirable, it's expense and resource intensive learning.
The Forum has been designed to facilitate bite sized knowledge for geographically diverse dental professionals.
The aims of forum are multiple:
Firstly, to demonstrate practical digital work flows design and manufacture full, partial dentures and other prosthesis.
Secondly, collate, evidence and discuss strategies on patient and practice management.
Finally, an open discussion of real life challenges faced by us all. Collaboratively work, across continents, to find solutions to the stresses Dental Pros / Denturist / Clinical Dental Technicians face daily . No corporate influence or bias, it's open air on whatever solutions work.
Tutorials and monthly discussions will be determined by membership request. Have a pain-point in your practice? Air it with the community; you won't be alone!
