Prosthetists need useful knowledge.

This annual membership includes unlimited interactive, group, industry led think tanks for the 12 month period from sign-up. All covering topics relevant to your daily activities. All free of corporate bias.

Focus is on clinical, technical and management for Dental Prosthetists. Created for professionals on the front line. Subjects vary monthly. Members request. Participation is encouraged. Experiences from multiple parties amplifies the lessons.

First sessions will - in no particular order - involve the following subject matter:

- Digital removable partial denture design. We start with 3Shape to unpack creating a metal partial denture for laser sinter manufacture.

- Full immediate denture treatment using IOS + digital design : patient management, transitional prosthetic, reline or remake. What does the evidence suggest regards patient experiences of digital versus analogue?

- Patient psychology; Dr Houses classification, treatment anxiety, aggressive patient, practitioner mental health, evidence + Q & A from attendees.

- Stressful treatment scenarios: e.g. F/F exhibiting highly resorbed mandibular ridge; impression techniques, occlusal schemes, evidence, documentation.

What is the purpose of offering these online sessions? Why bother?

After many years on the bench, in the clinic and classroom (three years of Higher Education Lecturer, Dental Prosthetists) the passion and love for our profession exists across so many of us. But patients can be challenging. Materials have limitations. Most of our profession work in solo or small practice, geographically, commercially isolated. Hours worked are statistically high. Knowledge, community, sharing insights, identifying patterns, sharing of product knowledge in an unbiased and independent manner, these all helps to stimulate positive energy. Membership is annual.
